John Michael Taylor

I left school with only one qualification and that was ART.  I then spent over 20 years working as a butcher. After a car crash I was unable to work. So I started up art again. In the space of six years I worked my way up the art education ladder. Starting with GCSEs a* / City and Guilds distinction / Open college network course/Foundation at Bletchley college Mk distinction and student of the year. I am now in my final year at Oxford Brookes fine art BA Hons. Degree. My art practice has many strands that merge together and inform my work, these are- religions, tribal aspects, butchery, art history and its symbolism, and lastly my own experience of life.

Contribution: Art’s in Child hand
